FIX YOUR EYES ON HIM

Hebrews 12:2 King James Version (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
It is common for you as a child of God to go through agonies when you are about to be promoted. Just like a woman in the labor-ward, she looks forward to receiving her child; she neglects the labor pains and agonies she goes through. To her the child is more desirable and too special that she can concentrate on the pains. Similarly with us as children of God we go through the same pain in our spirits. On the verse above: Looking means “fixing your eyes trustingly.” We need to consistently focus on Christ instead of our own circumstances with full trust that He will not leave nor forsake us.
Finisher: Christ has done everything necessary for us to endure in our faith. He is our example and model, for He focused on the joy that was set before Him. His attention was not on the agonies of the Cross, but on the crown; not on the suffering, but the reward. Jesus had a goal to achieve; He foresaw His victory more valuable than the current situation he faced. He saw me and you being saved from the wrath of God. He could not afford to enjoy the treasures of heaven and the earth whilst on earth His friends are suffering to death that’s why He preferred to die for the sins of the world. The bible records, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Prov 18:24 NIV.
Jesus knows all sorts of suffering not by book but by experience, therefore He is able to help us through all. Just call His name; He shall be there for you. All friends can be unreliable to you and turn against you when you are in trouble but He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. You better FIX YOUR EYES ON HIM and not a single day of your life would you ever regret. God has heard your cry; your tears will not fall on the ground. He will answer by fire; He will deliver you with His strong arm and by His Mighty hand; He will put a song of joy in your mouth in Jesus name.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Ps. 34:19// …8we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…2 Cor. 4:8-9// For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom 8:18// I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. Rev 1:9 NIV. Deut. 31:8; Psalm 40:3; Isaiah 41:10-13 (This is a must read scripture)
Dear Lord Jesus, please help me out as I go through these rivers of difficulty in my life. I expect only greater things beyond this suffering. I want to see all my enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. You are the God of His word; I want to see anyone who opposes me dying and come to nothing in Jesus Name. All those who attack me must come to nothing in Jesus Name I pray. Thank you Lord; for seeing me through in all my difficulties and attacks. Amen.
