2 Peter 1:4 (KJV)
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
On this verse above, Apostle Peter reveals a great revelation to us. He makes us aware of who we are, that means he is revealing our true identity. He says we are the children of the promise, born in the promise land and not in Egypt (the land of slavery) and for this reason, we are the partakers of the divine nature of God. We live higher lives; we are above the corruption of this world that comes through lust. Hallelujah! We are born of the Spirit; we have the higher authority than the world. John 3:6
That’s why the Apostle Paul says that we must not be conformed to the standard of this world, the lower standard, the corrupt standard. Rom. 12:2. We have the authority to bind things on earth and automatically the Higher Authorities in heaven binds them as well and if we release them on earth same principle applies in heaven because of the same nature, the divine nature of God. This nature has no limitation to anything, it can achieve whatever the flesh cannot achieve; it can access things that the flesh cannot access, why? Because it is a divine nature of God.
If you live by flesh you desire things of the flesh but if you live by faith you desire things of the spirit. The bible only grant us permission to covet gifts of the Spirit, this is the only thing we must covet. Not money; not each other’s resources; the list is countless, but the Spiritual gifts. 1 Cor. 12:31. Why? Because it is only the Spirit of God that has the ability to make us live and operate in the level of God; a higher life that the world cannot receive. John 14:17. He, the Holy Spirit has the abilities to make us operate in the supernatural the only key to the natural, as the bible records that whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shalt be bound in heaven and whatsoever that thou shalt loose on earth shalt be loose in heaven. This is a higher life! The level of God that has no limitation.
My father and my God, thank you for revealing such a marvelous revelation to me. I am born of the Spirit therefore I possess the supernatural abilities that the world cannot possess. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I declare that I expand on my right and expand on my left. Nothing is impossible with me because I share the same nature with God in Jesus name amen.
