LET THERE BE LIGHT

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not(Genesis 1:3)(John 1:5)."
When God created the earth, He needed no light because His radiance brought light during His creation process, but when He was done for the day, He realised that there was no light, when He had ascended back to heaven, He saw deep darkness upon the earth. He came back to the earth just to give the word: "Let there be light..." What is your darkness today? You need a word, "Let there be light!"
Indeed there was light, and this light shone in the darkness and the darkness could not comprehend the light. The word comprehend is a Greek lexicon translated from the word katalambano which means to understand or catch something. When God saw that the light goes throughout the day and there is no evening, He separated the light into two so that it can mark the seasons, days and years (Gen.1:14).
He assigned the smaller light (moon) to govern the night and the bigger light (sun) to govern the dawn of the day(Gen.1:17&18) so that our mourning(dark seasons in life) can be smaller than our morning (happiness or dawn of the day). This is where the psalmist drawn Psalm 30:5 from,"...Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."
The darkness does not comprehend the light for it shines even in darkness(Jn.1:5). The darkness you see in your life is not permanent. The darkness that you see is the moonlight it is not there to destroy you but to separate the seasons in your life, it is there for you to count your blessings. Your mourning will disappear soon because your morning is coming. "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice (Phil.4:4)."

O Lord, thank you for your Light in my life. Your radiance nullifies all sorts of evil and darkness in my life.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ I say let there be light:
In my finances, In my career, in my businesses, in family, in my marital life, in my now, in my tomorrow, in my forever, in every area of my life,
Let there be light: the light is there. Rejoice, in Jesus name. Amen.
